DNA is made of two strands which are bonded together with hydrogen bonds and are twisted to form a double helix. DNA is a polymer of nucleotides. Nucleotides are made of: a sugar (deoxyribose), a phosphate group and a base. The base can be Adenine, Thimine, Citozine or Guanine. The way that two strands are bonded with each other is that A pairs with T and C with G. One strand goes from 5’ to 3’ direction and the other strand goes on the opposite direction.
