DALMUS
The high Court of Kenya is established under article 160 of the Constitution of Kenya.It has supervisory jurisdiction over all other subordinate courts and other persons, body exercising judicial function.It was known as supreme Court of Kenya until 1964 and it's name has not changed since then.
It has a jurisdiction to hear all criminal and civil cases as well as appeals from lower courts.It is a premier Court in interpreting the Constitution.High Court divisions include family, commercial and Admiralty ,Constitution and judicial review, land and environment , criminal Industrial and Environment and land Court.There are atlist 20 high Court stations countrywide.
