How to retain our manpower to ourselves

You can imagine how frustrating it can be if someone came to your garden and harvested all the crops you planted, weeded, guarded, irrigated and mulched since they germinated. That’s the case in Kenya. We raise our children, teach them to walk, educated them, feed them and sadly when it comes to time when they should help the society, the best are chosen by other super power countries and taken away from us. This is the main reason they get more advanced and powerful as we weaken and lag behind in time. People we sweat to transform into professional doctors fly away without goodbye, expert cooks vanish and musicians entertain other people while we, the ones who raised them from childhood, remain silent and bored. Our people who fall ill are taken abroad for treatment. They are treated by our very own doctors and nurses! Hard to believe we do this to ourselves, but let’s call a spade a spade!

We should suffer to achieve the best together and I believe for this, we should also share the fruits of our labor together. It’s time to keep our weaknesses to ourselves and our strength to ourselves as well. As pain-filled as I am, I have devised the most appropriate means to retain our man skills and talent.
They leave our weaknesses behind; let them leave our strength as well,
Let’s put first things first. The reason why we lose our best is because we do not appreciate it. We misuse our best and leave it for dead. People who have what it takes are denied job opportunities to work while corrupt useless people fill their places. As jobless as they remain, they have all the reasons to find a place they will be appreciated and recognized. Kenyans, let’s show some love and give

some jobs to the power we still have before we lose it. A wise man once said “you should not think its rotting and throw it away, it can be picked very fast and leave you wondering if you threw away the right thing”.

Corruption is a disease that is gnawing us to the bone. Those in power bring along their junky manpower into positions they never deserves to hold. Besides wasting time and resources, their useless manpower wastes the useful talents hanging out there! The worst part is when these incompetent power greedy humans misuses such glorified positions to despise the powerful.
Sure beggars riding on horse backs as kings walk besides them!

It’s time we use peanuts for peanut butter and reward our manpower with real tokens of appreciations. Sometimes it’s too painful to work for a whole month as a professional teacher and receive a salary that can’t even pay for the bills let alone take you to a party. Teachers and doctors strike several times a year. This is proof that their manpower is being exploited. I think a teacher deserves all the credit because they build the future of all the country. What would be the use of sick manpower as well? Doctors, teachers and other educated people should be paid and paid well. This responsibility is not the government’s, it’s for everyone of us!
The worst thing we can do our to own people has not been mentioned yet! Imagine, we exploit and misuse our people, when we are sure they have been infuriated the most, we curse and criticize them! Surely, Kenyans…

We have lost in world competitions because we support other countries and their efforts, leaving and cursing out our own. In Tusker project fame, Kenyans vote for contestants from other countries and bring down their people! For this reason; those who suffer the shame disown us and leave us. We lose! Kenyans, lets wake up and support our kind. Even if they are not the best out there, our support is the best! And as imperfect as they are, they can trudge on an extra mile if they look at us and notice we are offering the best of our support. If we vote for them, encourage them; be rest assured, Kenya would be a better place for all of us.

We have lost most of the best people but that doesn't mean we have lost all of them. We still sire the best and the whole world is watching! If we do not appreciate what we own, it shall be taken away. They shall still do it over and over again, so we better wake up and retain our best.
Let the outside world come to us for treatment, for expert guidance, for man power, for skills! Because, we are the best, we have the best and thus, let’s give the best to them and for all reasons I believe we all shall remain home. We shall get stronger and happier together.
This goes to all those who dream of leaving us for their own personal gains, we raised you, we cared for you, we love you and always will love you! Just think about home and forgive us of our bad deeds. Remember east or west, home remains to be the best!
