Driverless trucks are the next big thing in the trucking industry as trucks will be able to move with less human intervention. A Sensor can also be installed that is able to sense if the driver is fatigued or if the eyes are fatigued and thus not safe to continue driving.Another sensor can be installed that is able to sense traffic lights from a distance.Improved Electronic roll stability has been used to help when a driver lose control of the truck and thus has helped to reduce accidents and there can be an improvement on the device so it can also help a driver if the trucks veers off the road or is negotiating a corner way too fast that can it result in an accident.Advanced General Packet Radio System: This is a device that helps determine the routes a driver can take and it can be improved to show the state of the road in each of the routes shown.Install a video on the truck that can be able to record every activity while driving.This can come in handy in case of accidents as it can help determine the cause of the accident especially when there is the absence of an eyewitness.This information can also be used by insurance companies and by courts in a situation where the truck driver is charged with an offense. This is just a tip of the iceberg as there are many technological advancements that are likely to come in the future.
