Lets admit it, slavery is a topic that no one wants to eagerly talk about, even though most of us acclaim to have not personally experienced this but are saddened by the thought that it, this unmistakably the most inhuman act ever committed in history, "existed". Now you may have noticed i used quotes, well this is because in as much as we all term slavery as an act of the past years, its not evidently the case nowadays cause, this modern era, or digital era, or mellenial era, which ever that rolls out of your tongue best, is filled with humans, you and me who have been enslaved.

How? First of, whats slavery. Well many books can tell you alot of things but the common lingual is that its basically being an obedient, no question asker servant to a master who can do pretty much whatever he/she/it wants with you. So how are we slave? We are not in ships on the high seas singing freedom songs as we sit below deck, naked and covered in our own fecal matter. We are not being whipped and lashed, insulted and violated, right? Or are we? Well, we are but in more aspects than you might think, see the world around as has changed heavily and revolted into a colonial age only difference is, our masters are not the white overlords but merely our bosses, jobs, teachers, institutions and you guessed it, our technology. See most bosses, jobs and teachers can be sued, arrested or boycotted if one might say he or she is not be treated right.

Institutions like our established governments on the other hand can not because most of time, people don't really get to know what to do if they feel oppressed. This said institutions have

managed to implant fear among their subjects which makes them rather easy to subject. However, the world as a people are beginning to wake up to this institutions and theirs change all around us. Though not in civil ways. Technology however, wins as the biggest slave master. Now the invention of the phone the computer, the internet, social media, are all based on one key element/invention, the radio. During the time, this such thing as a radio was only meant to connect people but nowadays we are more disconnected than we have ever been before.

These simple devices at their infancy were made with more emphasis on bringing the human society as a whole but the idea that most people didn't quite conceptualize at the time was that, technology is like a living organ and like all living organs have an inapt tendency to adapt and mutate, in the past years technically has grown significantly and unfortunately has enslaved the masses. Nowadays we would rather respond to a tweet in a heartbeat than pick a call from mum. We have been foolishly indoctrinated into a world of zombie like droids who need the latest iPhone, must have the latest Samsung app and more. And all the while this technology's lock us with dreaded messages like, updates and so on. Tricked with incentives, lured and rewarded by our daily patterns. So how do we stop this? How can you avoid it? Well subscribe to me to find out more.
