EFFECTIVE LEARNING

First lets define this word, learning.
According to English dictionary, learning is defined as; "the acquisition of knowledge or skills through study, experience, or being taught"

So the point here is very clear that learning is -acquisition of knowledge or skills. How do we acquire this knowledge and skills? Through study, experience and consequently through being taught.

If we expound this processes of learning (and we ought to) we will find that learning is so impressive. Some people will say that learning is feeding an empty brain with information, haven't you heard people say that? Its not so, mere information that isn't impressive and that which don't call for action isn't learning.

Learning is very interesting, it's progressive in nature. It natures our good behaviours, its the father and mother of civilization. How supercalifragilisticexpialidocious it is to hang out with a learned person.Yes(supercalifragilisticexpialidocious) look up in your dictionary and get the meaning. I can give you a hint, but what is the use ? Am I not calling for an action to improve your learning? Then learn a new word today and use it tomorrow.

Confidence is a fruit of good learning, fake it by all means but true confidence, a confidence that counts in front of men and women of character and wisdom is built on ones understanding and mastery of subject matter. This level can only be attained through effective learning.

Lets see what effective learning entails
1. It is inquisitive in nature.
Be inquisitive. Learn to ask questions about anything and everything. Know why the sun come from East to West and not vice versa.
2. It is experimental.
Experience as much as you can.
3 Listen.
By so doing you benefit in two ways, one, you interest the person you are listening to and you acquire the

information stored in his brain.
4. Think.
This ought to have come first, nevertheless, I believe it is still outstanding at whatever point it's mentioned. A lot is stored in your brain and still can hold more. Use it.
5. Infinite Intelligence.
The Jews were amazed and asked, " How did this man get such learning without having studied?"Jesus answered, "My teaching is not my own. It comes from Him who sent me....."
6. Study.
There is a great difference between studying and reading, the former is active and the latter is passive.

The list is endless, consider yourself in a battle field and your mission is to eliminate the enemy. Whether you kick his butt or shoot by his head, your aim is to kill. Get something here and something there feel your glass and......

7. Share! Share! Share!

*Mind you, LEARNING is totally different from schooling, the two are like chalk and cheese. Go to school if you can afford to but maintain an incontrovertible everlasting attitude of learning.
