To call or arrange for medical assistance urgently!

1. Call the correct number. Emergency number for Kenya is 999. Calling from mobile phones is 999 for Safaricom users and 112 for Airtel users.

2. Give your name and the number you are calling from.

3. Give an adequate description of the address or location of the emergency.

4. Do not hang up until the police have asked you all the questions.

5. Give the number of casualties.

6. Give nature of sickness/ injury.

7. Indicate the urgency/ seriousness.

8. Mention the type of assistance required.
