Girls, truth be told. Gone are days when a woman’s place was in the kitchen. Gone are the days when women used to just do household chores or just sit and gossip as they wait for their husbands to labour and put food in the table. Truth be told, many households today are being run by women. So if you are girl and your only dream is to get a rich husband who will give you everything in life, be warned.

When you speak to a young person, or when you try to encourage them to study hard, they always give a stare of, why me and not you? People learn by mistake and when someone tries to advise you, it is because of what they have gone through and they don’t want you to go through the same if it is something negative. Ask yourself why many people refuse school during their school days, only to decide to go back to school after getting married and may be having children? Experience.

To my dear youths, please do not discern education. If you have a chance of going to school. Do not waste it. You will regret. Do not listen to advise such as oh, you better start a business, there are no jobs today. Business is not bad, but please complete your education first then venture into business if you like or get employment. What you learn is yours forever. Nobody will ever take it.

I am glad to note that today, women embrace education wholeheartedly and they go for it as far as they can manage and they are doing better than men in many fields. So I as I end I would like to encourage young girls to take

education seriously because it is their future. Taking education seriously combined with belief and trust in God, you are sure of a brighter future.

God bless you all.
