Anger, left unmanned could lead to serious destruction. Though some argue that anger is hard to control, the following ways may help:

1. Avoid answering back. Answering back will cause the other party to throw back a much more annoying response that will send you flaring up with words. But if you don't answer back, you'll make the other party relax and even become good to you.

2. Walk away from the site of quarrel. This will offer a new environment, that will enable you to forget your former misery, consequently suppressing your anger. Besides, this will make you have a sound mind and be able to think logically.

3. Seek third party intervention if the case is so sensitive. The third party will act as a mediator, showing no biases on either party. This will help control the quarrel and may offer a lasting solution.

4. Try to look for the root cause of the problem and start solving from the very root cause. It may also help to control the quarrel.

5. Take a deep and continuous breath. This will make you feel relaxed and just stop the quarrel altogether because the deep breath will be a gateway to inner peace, and possibly a solution to the dispute.
