Tribal differences have severely tortured Kenya for the past few decades especially during the general elections period. Politicians are the main perpetrators when they incite people negatively leading to political instability and hostility between ethnic tribes, they make sure one tribe collides with the other by preaching the differences in public openings leading to members of one ethnic community hating on members of another community. This has also led to the increase of corruption where services and jobs at public offices are offered based on tribal grounds leading to lose of potential manpower. Leadership has also been compromised since majority have been made to believe that some tribes make good leaders than others and we are all aware that leadership qualities is independent of one's decency.

The Truth Justice and Reconciliation Commission TJRC, is on the front-line to make sure Kenyans interact with each other equally and embrace the spirit of being a nation, that is Kenya.

Intermarriage between different ethnic tribes is one good solution that will lead to the realization of national cohesion and integrity. Marriage between tribes will not only bond the relationships but will also promote multiculturalism where people will be able to learn and appreciate the culture and traditions of fellow countrymen.

Some awkward traditional practices and beliefs will be able to fade away and vanish as generations from different groups emerge. Some of the practices include wife inheritance and female genital mutilation.

Establishment of this relationship will also grant Kenyans to live and own property anywhere across the country instead of people marking territories which leads to decline of development as potential investors get scared away.

When Intermarriage becomes success, we will have a country where all Kenyans are brothers and sisters with no differences.
