Are you always putting in more hours of work in a day than everybody else and still feel like you should continue working? Do you find yourself with no time for hobbies and regularly work late trying to complete work you couldn't finish at a workplace? If the answer to the above questions is yes then you are addicted to work.

A person who is addicted to work is referred to as a workaholic. Most people nowadays become workaholics as the pressure of work piles on,but unfortunately a sizeable number of these people don't enjoy their work. Instead they feel compelled to do it. Being a workaholic can be injurious to not only one's health, but it can also affect one's social and family relations.

Here are some few tips to stop being a workaholic:-

(i) Stop working after a certain time say 5 or 6 pm. Make this a hard line. Tell your office not to call you after this time. Once the clock hits this time call it a day. The rest can wait for the next day.

(ii) Don't check emails or do other work-related communication after this point. Also don't take your mobile device to non-work events such as vacations, your kids activities, family parties and so forth.

(iii) Take the time to evaluate why so much time is consumed through work.

(iv) Schedule other things into your life. Exercise with a friend after work. Make dates with your partner. Set aside time for your beloved hobbies. This will stop you from working too hard and bring you comfort in life.
