I had been thinking that a majority of Kenyans know all about how you can find yourself in the KQ planes cockpit. However, it was until recently when I noted I had been naive on the matter. On visiting my former high school,I asked for those who would like to learn under the KQ programme and become pilots. In fact, no body knew of the programme and I have decided to post it for the benefit of the aspiring pilots. The programme is branded KQ ab initio pilot trainee programme. The successful applicants are trained in South Africa either in 43rd Air school or the progress school. However, all the learning costs are met by Kenya Airways and are meant for repayment once you successfully get a flying job with the company. Before you apply, however, make sure you scored a minimum mean grade of B+ and also a grade of B+ in Maths,English and Physics. Then visit the Kenya Airways website and click on jobs link to apply. All the best for the aspiring pilots as you fulfil your dream.
