This is totally different from traditional farming where you have to rely on particular seasons to grow crops.Minimal cases of pests and diseases Due to the specialized structures in which crops are grown in, there are very minimal cases of diseases and pests.Farming of exotic cropsWith greenhouse farming, you can grow any type of crop and be able to produce quality products. This is because with greenhouse farming, you are able to grow crops all throughout the seasons.Solution to unemployment There are a few cases in the country of young people, especially graduates who have dared to venture into greenhouse farming and they are reaping super profits from this venture. This can be a solution to the high unemployment cases in the country.Greenhouse farming offers a lot of benefits if embraced. From offering solutions to unemployment cases and food insecurity, this is a practice that should be fully embraced in Kenya if we are to develop as a country.
