If you love making jewelry, i''ll show you how you can use papers to make beads. Jewelry making has been my passion since I was young. I love combining different materials to create gorgeous works of art. I have tried various creative ways to make unique pieces for my collection. I discovered one way of making beads which is not only inexpensive, but provides hours of fun.The end result is elegance jewelry pieces that will spice up your look.

Materials you will need
-One old glossy page magazine
-A Ruler
-White glue
-Scissors
-A box of toothpicks
-Fishing line - 2 to 4 feet
-A Pencil

For the age, anyone can nake them. For the younger children, they can be assisted.
Time needed is only 1 hour, exclusive of drying time.

Preparation of the magazine

Separate the pages of your magazine. Try to keep the edges as smooth as possible for a better result. Hold a separated page lengthwise in front of you. Cut out long triangles with wide bases using the ruler and pencil from the top of the lengthwise page to the bottom. The widest part will be the completed width of your bead. It is fine to vary the width to create an interesting selection of beads. Use a pair of scissors to cut out the triangles.

Making the beads
When you want to create the beads, dip the cut triangles into the glue and spread the glue with your fingers evenly. Ensure that the glue is spread in such a way that it is very thin, smooth and consistent on the surface of the paper. Wrap the wide end of the paper triangles tightly around a toothpick. Wind the rest of the triangle around the base until the end of the triangle is reached, pulling it tightly with each round. Use your hands to smooth out

any air pockets or extra glue.  Leave for 1-2 minutes before transferring the bead gently off of the toothpick and onto a hanging strand of the fishing line-you should prepare this before time. By drying your beads on fishing line rather than the toothpick, it will be less likely to stick, creating an unusable bead.

Finishing tips
Once the bids dry, you can begin creating your jewelry. These beads can be used together with the multi-color patterns from the glossy paper to create gorgeous pieces of jewelry. If you like, you can customize them to suite your needs. You can decide to paint them with acrylic paint or spray to add a bit of style to your outfit. The idea is to have fun and be creative. With these beads, you can try out many techniques to find out what you can make. It might turn out amazing.
