It''s a rewarding and a fulfilling experience just to travel across the globe. Back in 2010, the CIA reports in the United States of America reported that there were 15,079 airports in the United States alone. Obviously, the USA has more airports than any other country in the world, but i didn''t think that it could even hit the 1000 mark.Let''s look at the statistics more practically.It was stated by the National Air Traffic Controllers Association that on average, the number of passenger flights stays within the 25,000-30,000 range in the US per day. Assuming that each plane has 20 rows and that each row holds up to 5 people on average, with each plane carrying up to 75% passenger capacity, the figure translates to 1,500,000 passengers per day, in the United States alone. Isn''t it a great idea if this large pool of passengers were converted into buyers? In marketing sense, we cannot deny that out of this population,there are certainly customers and clients, which is why businesses and firms scramble for space to put their ads at the airport terminals.The statistics mentioned above is a proof that a powerful advertisement placed in the right location at the airport can mint millions of cash to a business owner in a matter of days, if done wisely. This technique of marketing also allows one to target a specific market segment that has a hire purchasing power-those who travel by planes.The benefits of advertising at the airport are numerous. But it also depends on how creative and artistic the advertisement has been done. Even though the cost for setting up an ad at the airport may be a bit high-i don''t know whether it''s the city council who charges you or KAA. Either way, it may worth giving it a chance since going through the TV and Radio are way expensive than doing it at the airport.The effectiveness of an advertisement also depends on strategy and planning of a business. When you go advertising at the airport, bear in mind that you want to capture the attention of people who are on the go! You want to entice them. Your advertisement should be able to communicate in a fast paced environment in a short period of time. Keep your sentences short. The idea is to thoughts and follow-up.
