Celebrating Christmas in a style

Christmas is celebrated on every 25th December. Christians believe it's the day Jesus Christ, the son of man, was born. Though other religions don't ride under the same faith wave, due to the massive impact and uniqueness the day comes along with, they end up celebrating as well. In every home, the chances of preparing chapatis, chicken, beef, pilau among other delicacies are very high. Other families, the financially stable ones spend the holiday on a far far away place.

Whatever you do during Christmas, i tend to believe you do it in the best style possible. In this article, Ill propose some of the best places to dine, relax and have fun.

Welcome.

1. Plan early. Don't rush things too little too late.
It's better, safer and faster to make sure you do your Christmas shopping days before the day approaches. This saves your money. Know why? Because, sellers tend to hoist the prices of commodities commonly purchased. I believe buying a kilo of flour for 200 shillings is the last thing you want during the magnificent Christmas eve.
I've witnessed Kenyans paying triple the bus fare fee if they travel during this occasion. It's in our blood. We must increase the price of anything, as long as it's marketable. Highly marketable, if i might add.

2. Preparing for Christmas outdoor adventure.
Sometimes, people prefer to celebrate Christmas far away from home. In Kenya, most people visit the coast part. If you want to celebrate Christmas away from home, just do it early. Booking a house some few days before Christmas will save you the agony of rocketed prices. Sometimes the prices can even triple. The other thing is.. In order not to miss anything, create a list of all the commodities you'll need for your outdoor adventure. I remember one

day forgetting to carry along my gas cooker while touring mount Kenya. It was so hectic and stressing. I hope you don't forget anything.

3. Celebrating Christmas indoors.
Most people, because of various reasons prefer to celebrate Christmas, indoors. About 60 percent of them spend time cooking and in front of a televising device. Whatever it is you are planning to do indoor, be prepared.
As always, do some early shopping. Avoid wasting half of your eve stuck in a terrible traffic jam, just because you forgot to buy something.

4. Make you Christmas a religious moment.
Sometimes visiting a house of prayer is very important. Thank God for granting you such a memorable moment, sing dance and have fun..

5. Be careful, be responsible.
Sometimes it's terrible and disgusting to be a little irresponsible or more or less careless. I've heard cases where people lose their valuable commodities that leave some painful expensive moments behind. Other people lose their children in the city, never to find them again. If you must travel during this festive season, travel cautiously..

I wish you a merry filled Christmas and a magnificent new year 2013...
