Excelling in your secondary school education in KenyaWhen you hear the words “Excelling in your secondary school education”, I am very sure that the first thing that comes into your mind is reading very hard and revising, and all that other obvious stuff. However, these simple things cannot contribute so much in your success in secondary school. If at all they did, then everyone would get very high grades in their secondary school education, but not everyone does. This already proves that there are a few more tricks that some people use that enable them to be more successful in their secondary school education. I will give you some of these tricks.1) Finish each year’s studies before the year ends. Each year in secondary school, there is some amount of education that you are supposed to have acquired. If you wish to get very good grades while in secondary school, ensure that you have already acquired this education even before the year ends and start learning things which you are supposed to learn the next year. For example, if you are in form one, read the form one text book for each subject and also do all the exercises that have to be done in your form one books before the third term of your form one year. When you reach third term in your form one year, try and learn as much as you can about everything that is to be taught in form two.2) Teach others. When it comes to getting rich, most people say that giving is what makes you very rich. Well, it is the same when it comes to becoming very rich in knowledge.Teach others everything that they would like to know about what you have already learned or what you already know. As you teach others some of the things you know, you increase the chances of remembering these things when you get to the exam room. This also improves your ability to give your answers to the questions asked in the exam room in a clear manner which will allow the person marking your exam to understand what you are trying to say and thus give you the marks that you deserve.3) Use your knowledge. We learn so much at school, but it could all disappear from our minds if we have never used it in any part of our lives. Use what you know. As you use it, you not only understand it more but you also remember it more. These few tricks are very powerful and they will indeed help you to gain more from your secondary school life.
