I am putting this article on site, not either on a given political ground, stand, affiliation or side; but I think it is time the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission(IIEBC)stands up strong on ground and tell us what is going on.

It began when the Coalition for Restoration of Democracy(CORD) took a case to the Supreme Court to challenge the presidential elections. From what we all know, a part of the system failed and we all swallowed it. Whether bitter or sweet we did.

Kibwezi parliamentary elections had an issue, Kalembe Ndile who previously is said to have lost the race on a TIP TIP ticket late was announced by the court to have won slightly with 300 votes margin.

Another big game on the block was the Kethi Kilonzo issue. Previously, the IEBC had issued her a certificate to vie for the Makueni Senatorial by-elections on a Wiper Party ticket.Later a section of opponents are the ones who come up with an issue that Kethi is not legally registered as a voter. Well, events later are that IEBC accepts that and then in a court of law, Kethi is not allowed to run for the senator's seat for Makueni. What appears to be a relief to Wiper Party is that they are allowed to choose in another aspirant for the same ticket. They land on Mutula KIlonzo Jr, the brother to Kethi, and son to the late law maker and senator Mutula Kilonzo Sr.

The IEBC prints the election papers, but without Mutula Kilonzo Jr's name. And they say it will take a whole seven days before they print the papers differently. But, since the name of Mutula Kilonzo Jr was forwarded to them meant they had exactly seven days before the day of the election.

So, who and who are playing this game?

Do

we have outside forces working with the IEBC?

Shall the voters know how to handle Mutula Kilonzo Jr's name now that it shall only on a sticker below the aspirants list?
I think a lot is happening and it its time the IIEBC say it to us.
