The History of Spatial Epidemiology:
Spatial epidemiology according to (Ostfeld S.R, Glass E. G, Keesang,) defined it as the description and analysis of spatial variations of diseases in relation to the factors such as demography, environment, economic, behavioral, genetic and risk of infection. It is a branch of public health geography that deals with the determination of results of health issues through comprehensive elaboration of the disease and its variations spatially on the globe. The main aim of spatial epidemiology to understand where and when do diseases tend to occur and reasons for existence of such patterns.
