Write down Aluoch’s bill as follows:

2kg sugar @ sh 48 = 2 x 48 =sh 96

2kg of cooking fat for sh 165 =sh 165

2packets of tea leaves @ sh155=2 x 155 =sh 310

3 loaves of bread for sh 63 =sh 63

Total bill = 96+165+310+63 = sh 634

Balance = 1000 – 634 =sh 366
