Uhuru Garden in Kenya is one of the iconic recreational destinations for all individuals as well as foreigners in the country.Carrying the iconic representations of all events that have ever taken place in our motherland,For example..The achievement of independence monument and Kenya at 50 years since independence,Its my dream that Uhuru Gardens can be made number one recreational destination in not only East and Central Africa but Africa as a whole.Much needs to be done in order to make Uhuru Garden number one destination in Africa.With the celebration of Kenya at 50 still underway and to be carried at Uhuru Garden, it is the time the Ministry of Environment should develop new strategies of upgrading Uhuru Garden since it is an icon in Kenyan History.The Ministry can keenly and closely look at the following strategies that will be aimed at publicising Uhuru Garden worldwide hence being number one Recreation destination in Africa.1)The ministry should first liase with the government in order for the govenment to set money aside which will be used for expansion programs.i.e.Through setting up of Modern recreational facilities at Uhuru Garden.Therefore The Ministry of Environment should outsource for money for expansion thus improving and Upgrading Uhuru Garden2)Borrowing of ideas from foreign countries regarding the upgrade.It is said that learn from those who have made it and since other foreign countries.This will give ideas and knowledge on how to forge on and execute the plan.3)Do agressive marketing of Uhuru Garden in East and Central Africa,Africa as a whole and the whole world.This will be done through: a)Use of websites.Since everything has gone back to the internet,creation of a cachy and a pleasing site will enable the Garden to be known abroad. b)Use of Television stations from abroad.The Ministry of environment can air the Garden using T.V stations from abroad marketing and making Uhuru Garden as Number one recreational destination in Africa.This kind of advertisement will have a wide coverage since it will be aired on National T.Vs from different foreign countries. c)The Ministry can also set up Billboards in Foreign countries with exact photo of the Newly,refurbished Uhuru Garden.This will increase publicity of Uhuru Garden thus recognition from individuals around the globe. d)The Ministry can as well liaise with different managements from different football grounds around the globe to secure advertisement space on the LED screens surrounding the football pitches.This will have a positive and a great impact in publicizing the Garden since the football grounds are one of the recreational facilities.With all this done there is a guarantee that Uhuru Gardens will be an icon not only in kenya but in the whole world as the best recreational destination around the globe.Happy Kenya at 50 to you all
