It doesn’t matter where or when, there are some common spelling mistakes we keep making. As for me these ones take more than just my own effort to get them right, feel free to add on the list, everyone has his own weaknesses.• Misspelled; this is funny isn’t it? Just don’t forget it has a double ‘S’ next time.• Writing; the next time you write that with a double ‘T’ remember that you are illiterate.• Receive; I am sure I am not the only one who places the ‘i’ before the ‘e’ all the time.• Cannot; one word comrade, one word.• Maintenance; stop just adding some letters to the word maintain and learn.• Interest; I have no interest in any interest without the letter ‘e’.• Lose; next time you lose something just remember you are not cutting anything loose.• Weird; isn’t it weird that we keep interchanging the ‘e’ and the ‘i’?• Definitely; don’t write everything as you pronounce it.• Pronunciation; this one was difficult, even my English teacher could not convince me that easily.
