Ignorance of the law has landed many in tumultous tides.People who do not know what the law says often see it as a harsh mistress because nobody helps them understand it in simple terms.I endeavor to help you with assault, false imprisonment and battery.

ASSAULT
If a person threatens you without use of any force, then they are guilty of assault. For instance if one said"I'll kill you one day" and even went ahead to wield a knife at you,you have a right to move to seek the assistance of your lawyer in entering a suit.

BATTERY
This refers to use of force on another person.Nobody should forcefully touch you without your consent. For instance,if,during an argument a partner shoves you around or pushes you in a way as to cause you to fear for your safety,it would be wise to seek legal redress.

FALSE IMPRISONMENT.
No one should lock you in a confined space against your will.If for instance after an argument a person bangs the door and locks it up on their way out,or places heavy objects on the door that make you unable to open it,you can seek legal redress.
