Many students fail exams not because they are under heads or they didn't prepare well for the exams but because of the panics they go through from the time they enter the exam room. Facing the exam has become a nightmare for many students especially in primary and secondary schools. The main reasons why they fail is the confusion brought by adrenaline when they panic and start to sweat, this mental confusion leads to other irrelevant practices like cheating in the exams, which can lead to disqualification and also loss of morale and hope in passing the exams. There are several methods that can be used to curb this problem;1. Take your time:-Exams are usually allocated ample time and it is therefore advisable to take some considerable time to relax before rushing to answer the questions. This helps your mind relax and you'll realize that you have started to remember some of the solutions as you tackle the exams.2. Have a positive attitude:-You should not have the attitude that exams are there to torture you, exams are there to test what you have learnt over a certain period of time, this helps you to take them as any other normal activity.3. Take it easy:-Most students feel like the final exams are a death sentence and they panic until the time expires, one should consider the number of exams they have done before and take everything easy, don't start to think about failure.4. Prepare well for the exams:-Good preparation gives you confidence thus helping you relax while you wait to tackle the questions. Failure to prepare will make you panic as soon as you face the first question because you have no idea on what to write.
