If you have a group especially a youth group or women group or any other group and you would like to prosper as a group then try this tips and see if it can lead you to success. Ensure your group is registered and be in possession of a valid certificate from the relevant ministry.Your members should be a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 for easy management/control.Members should be willing to work harmoniously and dedicated towards success and any member who is letting the group down should be eliminated i.e strictness should apply.Make sure the group has its rules and regulations that should be adhere to at all times.Try to source for funds from contributions,donors,loans from banks or relevant ministry etc. These funds can act as a kick start to your group. Ensure that the group has officials and a bank account to handle money matters and the group members should be the auditors. Start an income generating enterprise/project, and through this project you can start saving a small amount of net profit for the group and the rest you can expand your business. Here is an example of a business that a group can venture into, Micro finance. Lending money to its members at an interest, your group account can act as your sacco or bank and you can start with the registered members before you recruit others as the business grow.
