Kenya has greatly developed since she attained independence.

Kenya has had improvement in transport and communication since independent.The agricultural sector has continued to be expanded enabling Kenyans to produce both food and cash crops.

There have been efforts to establish various industries in the country hence having internal and foreign based industries.

Trade have continued to expand in the country, the Kenyan government thus earns revenue both from the internal and external trade.

Livestock and the fishing sector has also bee expanded.

Mining have also been encouraged though its on a small scale.

On the energy sector Kenya has continued to harness hydroelectric power plus geothermal and other sources of energy.

Financially, Kenya has many banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions and lastly the tourism sector in Kenya has continued to expand rapidly and its to Kenya's benefit.
