Christian Religious Education (C.R.E) is taught in school to assist the learner develop a personal relationship with God.

To equip the learner with knowledge,skills and attitudes on various ways of worshiping God.

To contribute to the spiritual development of the learner.

To contribute to the moral development of the learner.

To help the learner identify and appreciate the ways in which God reveals Himself to the people for example,through personal experiences,creation,the scriptures,Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

To help the learner use acquired social,spiritual and moral insights to think critically and make appropriate moral decisions in a changing society.

To help the learner respect and appreciate his/her religion and other people's cultural beliefs,values and practices.To enable the learner develop a sense of self-respect and respect for others.

To promote international consciousness through the understanding of the universal brotherhood and sisterhood.

To help the learner contribute positively to the transformation of an individual and society as a whole.

To help the learner acquire the basic principles of christian living.

To help the learner acquire knowledge for further studies in various career fields.
