Passing exams does not mean you have to spend all your time in classrooms with a book in front of you, passing is a strategy. High school and most college and university students tend to spend long hours of the night (trans-night) reading one book to another especially when the exams are near. This is called quantity reading and it always leads to disappointments when students face the examination. This article is going to put forth tips of quality studying that will help you improve your grades and give you peace of mind so that your school life won't be a nightmare.

1. Be prepared: Whenever you want to do your studies make sure you are prepared on the subject and topic(s) that you intend to study in that particular study session. This can be achieved by establishing personal time tables as they will be guiding you to study effectively. Lack of preparedness leads to boring study sessions and anxiety when the exams are near.

2. The best time: If you an early bird, then utilize that session in covering the subjects and topics that are hard to understand. Studying in the wee hours of the morning are the best because the mind and body are all fresh and therefore the rate of concentration is high. Although waking up early to books is good, it is also good to ensure that you get enough sleep.
The evening hours could be utilized to do calculations and other revisions as the body and mind are already tired from the day''s activities making concentration levels a little bit low.

3. Physical exercise: Schedule your time so that you can have physical exercise example engaging in various sports or taking a walk. Physical exercise helps the mind to unwind and it also improve the blood

circulation to the brain. You will realize that after a physical exercise your mind is able to take more than the mind of a person who never does any exercise. Sporting also ensures good health. Avoid playing mind games like chess and draughts as they make your mind more tired.

3. Eat a well balanced diet: Good health will ensure that you study comfortably and also saves the time you might spend at hospitals seeking medical attention.

4. Trust in God: If you are into religion trust your God because He is the ultimate provider of everything. Seek ye first and everything else will follow.
