How to start, drive and stop a manual car

A manual car has three pedals; clutch, brake and accelerator. The clutch pedal is on the extreme right, brake is in the middle and accelerator on the extreme right.
How to start
1) Adjust your chair so that you can easily reach the pedals.
2) Check your mirrors and adjust them to give you a clear view.
3) Put on your seat belt.
4) Use the left foot to press the clutch pedal in.
5) Hold the gear level with one hand and check if any gear is engaged. If the gear level is neutral it will play around freely when you move it around.
6) Let go off the clutch pedal and insert the ignition key. Turn the key clockwise. Lights will show up on the dash board screen.
7) Start the engine to run and press the clutch pedal in. the clutch pedal connects and disconnects the gear box and the engine to enable changing of gears and starting and stopping of vehicle.
8) Engage the desired gear. If gear one is engaged do not release the clutch pedal.
9) Press the right foot on the accelerator. Balance the accelerator before releasing the clutch to avoid the car from switching off.
10) Release the clutch pedal slowly and you are on your way.
How to change gears when driving.
1. The accelerator pedal is pressed in, the engine sound increases.
2. Now when you want to change gear up you must first release the accelerator pedals.
3. Hold gear level with one hand while the other should be on the steering wheel.
4. Press the clutch in
5. Change the gear up in numeric order. i.e. 1 to 2 to 3 and vice versa, Do not skip a number because the car will jerk violently.
6. Immediately after you have engaged the desired gear release the clutch quickly.
7. Step on the accelerator to increase speed and to match up with the gear.
How to stop.
1) Release the accelerator to reduce speed.
2) Press the brake

pedal in gradually and efficiently.
3) Press the clutch pedal in.
4) The vehicle will automatically stop when the clutch and the brake pedals are in simultaneously. The engine will still be on.
5) Put the gear at neutral.
6) Engage the handbrake and release the accelerator and brake pedals.
7) Turn the ignition key ant- clockwise.
