Hello fellow Kenyans.
Politics constructs or destructs. The majority of schools in Kenya are public. There main source of learning materials and other necessary facilities are provided by the government. A close view of these schools indicates that there is a big difference between one school from the other starting from the tuition blocks to learning materials. Which direction do you think the arrow of poor schools points? Have a look at regions where political strong-holds of the country hails from.

The institutions and learners from these communities are either in equal or better state compared to the privately - owned learning institutions. Talking of a fact i can confirm, a community where there are no political strong - holds and none of their son or daughter holds a position in the government. From this community is a primary school which has managed sports to the national level for two consecutive years and with academic improvement. Surprisingly, this poor school with traditionally constructed tuition blocks has never received any award or help towards the improvement of the face of the school. Is it true that politics affect our education? Are we Kenyans sure of achieving our vision 2030 in that trend?
