How to take care of your jeans clothing.

Jeans clothing are not only expensive but also fashionable. A well taken care of jeans trouser trickles a feeling of confidence, lovability and smartness. But, what does it take to clean and maintain the dress?

Jeans clothing ranges from women skirts, men's trousers, jackets, shirts and shorts.

Jeans should NOT be washed every time they are worn. How? I can hear you ask. Ok. In order to avoid continuous exposure of the cloth in water, avoid deep washing them. Instead, take a piece of cloth and dip it in warm water. Add soap and form a foam. Use the foam to wipe all the mud, juice, dyes, etc from the surface of the cloth.

Jeans should NEVER be washed using hot water. One common thing/feature in almost all jeans clothing is that they obtain their color from dyes. Dyes will be easily bleached and dissolved by hot water, hence decolorizing the cloth. Faded jeans don't speak so well of someone and loosing in a job interview or losing a date because of faded jeans is the last thing you want.
Instead, use some lukewarm water and soap to wash the clothes.

Do not wash jeans clothes in the same basin with other clothes that bleach or decolorizes the water. The colors will stick on the jeans clothes and dye them. You can picture a red, blue and green jeans skirt/trouser during your first date. Pathetic is not disgusting ha?

Do not frequently iron jeans clothing in order to avoid dye decolourization.
Dyes can change their natural form if exposed to heat. Blue jeans will turn brown if exposed to so much heat from electric or charcoal iron boxes. Ironing the creased part and the edges is sufficient.

Avoid wearing jeans if the weather becomes extremely hot.
Heat is heat irrespective of the

source. A person in Mombasa will have their jeans clothing decolorize in 3 months but someone in Kinangop will still have an almost new jeans clothing a year after purchase.

Before storing, check out for damaged parts and repair/have them repaired.
Check out the condition of the zip and buttons if any and replace any lost or damaged parts.
Don't expose to the fire.
Do not expose to heaters and ovens.

Always wear a protective gear if you are working in areas/places where there's dirt that can destroy the quality of your cloth.
Paint, mud, oil, grease among other dirt liquids.

Jeans clothing are now part and parcel of your daily life. Saying you won't put all that into consideration because you don't have jeans clothing is not wise because a spouse or friend might decide to spice up your birthday by buying you a fantastic jeans trouser..
Surely, prevention is better than cure.
