Business activities affect daily lives of all citizens of Kenya as they work, spend, save earn, invest, travel and/or even leisure. The business activities are part and parcel of our daily lives in the sense that human beings are concerned with maximizing opportunities for life. People engage I exchange of goods and services through an exchange of money, that is to say, business activities are geared towards profits. Business activities in a country influence employment opportunities. People are able to create jobs for others through involvement in income generating activities and through this, the employment problem is put on a right side of solution.Business activities also help to develop individual skills of those involved in business operations. For example, one is able to develop skills of good customer relations and spending habits through his or her involvement in business activities.Through business activities, income is generated and this help to improve the living standards of individuals and also help to develop personal entrepreneurial skills that can help one to come up with viable investment in a given field of business. Business activities also open up the market to ensure that there is perfect competition in the market. The opportunities for both if not all parties to do some business are advantages that come with business activities. Beyond the benefits of business to individuals, there are some other benefits as well. Business activities are also beneficial to the environment on which people lives. Understanding of the environment through business activities have helped to sustain the environment for human beings.A country’s economy is to some extent defined by how various groups and individuals do business activities. In Kenya for example, business people have always put their best in ensuring that the economy grows in all dimensions and all we are left wondering is why the systems put to govern and protect business operations still minimal in scope.Let us work and encourage others to be productive and learn from the business niche that is evidently being created in almost all parts of the country so that we push the country forward economically.
