1. An effective revision book should help you revise for your upcoming examinations. You should also learn how to study and best ways of studying.
2. The book should be structured so that you can revise short sections of the syllabus. This will help you master them in a way that makes sense time wise and content wise.
3. Each unit is divided into summaries of the content and a short quiz. These are to help you revise the syllabus material and then to answer short questions on the content to see how well you know the work and how well you understand it.
4. The book should have practice questions at the end of each unit which will help reinforce the most important points in the unit and then to test your overall knowledge and understanding of what was covered in the unit.
5. The book should provide answers at the back of the book. Alternatively the book should come with a separate answer book. This is to help you check that you are learning effectively.
