The internet is really evolving at a fast pace. Just last year, i bought a smartphone and one of the features it boasted was it’s 3G capability-meaning that i was able to download files faster from the server, share media files with friends on the go and also do things that were practically impossible with the conventional mobile phone.Today, i hear people talk about 4G and i can’t face the fact that my smartphone will soon be outdated. The 4G network means 4th generation(which at my age, i don’t qualify). In layman’s language, you could say that it’s 5 times faster than 3G. Together with the optic fiber that was recently introduced in Kenya, we should be ready to see more action on the worldwide web. Unfortunately, Safaricom was not able to launch the network because of some issues that will probably take longer than usual to get resolved. Thanks to CCK which has saved my dear smartphone. It could have really fallen out of place in a world where all devices are operating on 4G.
