Levitation Trick

This technique involves taking a jump and a photo at the same time. If you do it right you will not need to carry out digital manipulation of the photo.

However, to get top quality levitation photos, one has to minimize all signs that can be show that it was a jump. Unless you intend to use the photo for various artistic purposes such as to depict some effects, it's recommendable to reduce blurriness so as to ensure that the shot looks sharp. If you intend to capture some outrageous moves, you may choose to use props such as a rope. The props can later be removed using photoshop software. Since the photo is in 2D, careful framing and use of various perspectives can help eliminate all traces of props. Remember that a photo is static in time, meaning you can remove the prop just before taking the photo. However, ensure that the prop is sturdy so as to avoid accidents.

In some case, you might have to make changes to your photo for it to look real. Cut and paste the pictures that you intend to use then combine them to form one photo. The

trick behind this technique is to use correct shadows and lighting. To get it right, one has to first visualize the final outlook of the photo before you can even set up the lights and camera.

Light Painting
To do this right, you the photographer has to make some exposures by moving the camera or a hand held source of light. There are two ways of taking cheap trick photos using light painting technique.

Camera Painting- This entails moving the camera from its tripod and using it as a paint brush especially at night or in a dark lighted room. To get it right, it's recommendable to use cityscape as a palette. The camera and night sky can act as a brush. By strategically moving your camera and light sources, you will be able to capture some amazing patterns.

Move the Light Source-As the name suggest, it involves moving the light source that you are using to illuminate the target object. It can also be achieved by painting a given image by shinning it directly into your camera's lens. To get it right, you will need to have a slow shutter speed of approximately one second or more.

Light painting can also be done by projecting the targeted images on irregular surfaces light building then selectively paint them using light. Some of the equipments that you can use as a source of light include a flashlight and a hose master that contains a fiber- optic light pen.
