Effects of lack of jobs in Kenya

In Kenya, there are so many people who are looking for jobs. However, only a few of them are lucky enough to get any job. This has been a big issue in Kenya which affects all who have ever been looking for any job.
Everything has some effect, and so does unemployment. There are so many things in Kenya which have been caused by unemployment, some good and others definitely very bad. I would like to talk about all these effects that have been brought about by the lack of jobs in Kenya.

1) Crime.
Not all crimes in Kenya are caused by the lack of employment, but most of them are. This makes a lot of sense because people like to survive, we all do, but not all of us come up with legal ways to survive when the going gets tough.
Some decide to use any means to earn cash and when there is no legal means possible to make money in their opinion, they decide to use illegal ways of earning. This is one of the reasons why some people in Kenya become criminals.

2) Self employment.
Even though some people cannot come up with legal ways to earn in Kenya when there are no jobs, a few people think of ways to make their money legally without the need of being employed.
This is one of the best ways that some people in Kenya have handled the lack of jobs in Kenya. There are various examples of self employment in Kenya which include selling goods in retail shops, cash crop farming and so many other examples that show us that you do not have to be employed in order to earn money in Kenya.

3) People dropping out of school.
There are so many reasons why people learn while at school, the

main reason why I learned while at school was in order to get employed, which is one of the main reasons why most Kenyans go to school.
However, when the students or pupils in Kenya here many people in the same country saying that there are no jobs in Kenya no matter how well or how hard you learn at school, it discourages them from working hard at school.
It makes stops them from valuing education and for this reason, some of these students and pupils drop out of school.

There might be other effects of the lack of jobs in Kenya, but these are the main ones. My only wish is that each Kenyan would get a chance to use the education he or she has acquired in Kenya without having to move to other countries looking for jobs.
