How to write informal letters commonly tested in an exam

Informal letters are letters that address people who have close relationship, like classmates, relatives, lovers among others.Some of the common letters that a student may expect in an exam includes the following;

i)Request and request decline letters .Request letters are written to borrow something in a polite way. When the recipient receives the request but not in a position to make it right, the writes a letter back to the sender of request to decline the request made.
ii)Congratulatory letter.written to recommend and celebrate someone's achievements.
iii)Condolence letter.This is written to comfort people after they lose their loved ones.

i) Request letter.
Dear uncle John,
I hope you are well. Mother has asked me to deliver a basket of groceries to Aunt Bilha. Would you please let me use your bicycle for the journey? I promise to ride carefully and return it soon as i am back. Sorry for the inconvenience.

ii)Letter to decline a request.
Dear David,
I hope this finds you well. I got your request yesterday, which you needed to use my bicycle to deliver groceries to your Aunt Bilha. Am sorry but my bicycle broke down three days ago, so you may not be in a position to use it for this time. I can't assure the time it will take to repair it though i hope to see it back moving soon. For now, please look for assistance elsewhere over the matter.

iii)Congratulatory letter.
Dear jane,
I got good news about your shining form four results. Attaining an A plain in such an exam exibit highest level of commitment, sacrifice and greatest hardwork. In line with that, please also accept much more congratulations from Uncle Dubia and Cousin Joan.God bless

iv)Condolence letter.
Dear Olive.
It is with great sorrow that i learnt the demise of your daughter Carol. Since the time she came to earth, i have known her as a respectful, God fearing and a hardworking girl. I know it's painful but that what God decided best. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and know that God has marvelous plans for your in future. Should you need any assistance, please feel free to talk to me and i will be always willing to help the best way i can.
May he who created life, he who gives and takes comfort you in this time of difficulty and sorrow.I will always remember you in my all time prayers. And may the soul of Carol rest in an eternal peace till we meet again.
