It goes without saying,nothing good comes on a silver platter.There is also an old adage that reminds us that Rome was not built in a day.Rome was once a marshy tract of land but with time, continuous efforts and patience,it was transformed into a great city.The city was not built overnight.It took years and continuous efforts to make it such a wonderful city.Step by step, the city was built.Similarly,nothing great can be achieved all at once or overnight.This means we should not rush things.To do a thing properly and successfully,it requires time, continuous efforts and patience.Where there is a will,there is a way.Success is achieved when things are diligently done,day in day out.Great inventions were achieved through years of preparation,hard work and patience.It calls for devotion and patience.Simply by one jump,however high,you cannot reach the peak of a mountain.Indeed,with patience and continuous efforts,a mountain can be scaled.Lives of great men show they attained greatness through years of devotion and perseverance.Let's take the example of a bird making its nest. You are certainly amazed by the bird's patience and perseverance.The bird collects sticks and twigs with its beak,arranges and re-arranges them until it gets the desired shape.It does not give up.The sticks and twigs may fall,the partly-built nest may be blown away by the wind,but the bird still persists.This is the kind of perseverance we need to cultivate.We have to realize that obstacles will always come our way and the path to success is not a walk in the park.We must keep our dreams alive no matter what we encounter in our way or the time it takes to make our dreams come true.Some people want to lose weight overnight.Others want to make super-normal profits within days from a new business.It is the nature of the task that determines the length of time it takes to be accomplished.Most people have the habit of getting impatient when a task takes a little longer than expected.Most people get discouraged and they keep their eyes off the prize.Never give up and always keep your eyes on the prize.Being hasty and impatient will lead you nowhere.An advice to those who after having put in a little work or labor want instant and excellent results;success is not instant coffee.Impatience wastes resources, labor and energy put in an effort.Never give up in life even after successive failures.Patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet.Patience,continuous efforts and time are all we need.
